I receive a lot of questions about protein powder; is it necessary, which type of protein powder should I buy and etc. I decided to create this post as a way to answer questions, past, present and future, to settle this issue once and for all (unless some groundbreaking new research comes out which changes everything lol).

The Difference Between Low Carb and Keto Diets

Rcently, I experimented with doing a “Mythbuster’s” chat on both Instagram Live and Clubhouse. Since Clubhouse does not yet support saving discussions on the platform, I recently record the keto versus low carb talk I did on Clubhouse. I ended up discussing what the keto and low carb diets were with my two friends, Katie Neville and Laura Coatney, and weighing the pros and cons of both.

So why am I writing this article? Because 99.9% of these articles miss the mark and don’t provide any real value in my opinion. This article will give you a run down of the basic mechanics of losing weight (energy in versus energy out) and give you some jumping off points from there on how to lose weight safely and sustainably.
