Mmm, I cannot get over chocolate and how good it is. My husband was really in France for a conference and he brought me back the most incredible bar of dark chocolate. I’ve been trying very hard not to eat all of it because even though dark chocolate is significantly healthier than your standard milk or white chocolate, a whole bar of it still has a fair amount of calories.

I am a BIG fan of Chobani and Greek yogurts in general so I was very, very excited to try this new flavor and squealed a little at the big box of Chobani that arrived at my doorstep. The Cherry Dark Chocolate Chobani has been incredibly successful at keeping me away from my huge bar of dark chocolate. No matter the variety, each and every cup of Chobani Greek Yogurt is made with fresh milk from cows not treated with rBST and proudly contains no artificial sweeteners, preservatives or flavors. I was really excited to see that the Cherry Dark Chocolate flavor contained whole milk which definitely makes for a richer and creamier chocolate. There is nothing better than coming home at the end of a long day and being able to wind down with something that gives you a hit of chocolate but that is low in sugar and will not derail your fitness efforts. Do not underestimate the power of reducing added sugars in your diet – I have found reducing the amount of sugar I eat has helped me so much in staying at a weight I am comfortable at. I love working out but sadly you cannot out train a bad diet.

I normally eat Chobani Greek yogurts for a snack during the day to help keep me satiated and I am excited that they have brought out some amazing new flavors. Change is always good in my opinion and especially when it involves a way to make chocolate healthy!!
