Last February, Protein World teamed up with Kim Kardashian! I was excited to hear about the partnership as it’s Khloe’s first major fitness collaboration and was even more motivated to try out Protein World’s products (which I’d been curious about for a while now)–and specifically the Protein World Slender Blend line. As fate would have it, Protein World reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out the Protein World Slender Blend line. Um, YES, and thanks for reading my mind!
As such, I wanted to share with you all my thoughts on the products in my Protein World Slender Blend review. Read on to find out whether or not they matched my expectations.
What’s in the Protein World Slender Blend Line?
There are two Protein World Slender Blend plans; one which includes their vanilla porridge and the other which includes their chocolate porridge. I received the Protein Slender Blend with chocolate porridge. This works well for me because I am an absolute chocolate fiend! Their plans also contain:
- the Slender Blend (weight-loss) protein powder
- hunger buster capsules
- fat metaboliser capsules
- a Protein World shaker
- 30-day challenge containing recipes and workouts
The Slender Blend line is designed as a whole to help kickstart your weight-loss journey. However, as you may or may not know, I’m not necessarily looking to lose weight, but rather to build lean muscle and to slowly decrease my bodyfat.
Khloe Kardashian’s partnership with Protein World emphasizes the fact that they want to help others become the best version of themselves, and that’s the mindset I had using these products.
How I Use THe Slender Blend
Slender Blend Weight Loss Protein Powder
As I said, I’ve been using the Slender Blend products as a way to supplement my current fitness goals. I use the Slender Blend protein powders to quickly whip up protein shakes after my workout or in the late afternoon, as a way to curb my cravings. I’m sure they would be fantastic, however, for anyone looking to lose weight because a snack high in protein will help keep you fuller for longer.
The Protein World weight-loss protein powder is probably one of the best tasting protein powders I have tried so far–it’s sweet, but not overly so, and has a delicate vanilla and banana flavor. I literally just mix it with water and then I’m good to go. Normally, I need to mix protein powders with milk. Furthermore, at only 141 calories per serving and 24 grams of protein, it’s an easy way to increase your protein intake. And the protein powder also contains Protein World’s Vitamin & Mineral Blend which is a fun, little bonus (although, I have to say that multivitamins are absolutely not needed if you’re eating a healthy, varied diet). If you were to pair their weight-loss protein powder with a fiber-rich food like an apple, you’d honestly feel full and satisfied for hours.
Fat Metaboliser Capsules
I used the fat metaboliser capsules as directed. One pill after breakfast, and another after lunch for the first week, and then upping the amount to two pills during the second week. I decided to stop taking them after two weeks because I didn’t want to become too reliant on them. I actually did see a small difference in ab definition when I was taking them which was quite exciting! And I didn’t need to drink coffee at all while taking them because of their high caffeine content. This is a cause for concern though, however. You probably don’t want to take them if you’re not used to caffeinated products because even I felt a bit jittery for the first few days that I took them.
Hunger Buster Capsules
I haven’t used the hunger buster capsules because I honestly don’t have too many issues in dealing with hunger. I personally also think that if you’re hungry then you should probably eat! But I do understand that others may appreciate this product especially if they work long shifts with little to no access to food.
Slender Blend Porridge (Chocolate)
I normally alternate between two types of breakfast’s; scrambled Parmesan eggs with mushrooms and GG crackers or oatmeal with softened apples and protein powder. On the weekends, I sometimes do make protein pancakes (get my recipe here) instead but I am a massive creature of habit. For the past few weeks, instead of eating my usual oatmeal breakfast, I will make some slender blend porridge using vanilla cashew milk and top it with some fruit, such as raspberries or blueberries.
The porridge is SO freaking delicious!!! And it contains chia seeds and flaxseeds to help you get in your healthy fats and boost your fiber intake (don’t doubt the health benefits of fiber, my friends). The only thing I found slightly annoying is that the porridge mix doesn’t microwave well–it’s either too watery or turns into this weird, cake-like texture. I’ve solved this by just having it ‘overnight-oats’ style. Click here to see how I make it.
30-Day Challenge
I still have yet to try out one of the workouts, or delicious recipes, in this booklet but will update this review once I do. The workouts look basic and great for beginners.
Honestly Fitness approved
All in all, I am very impressed with Protein World’s Slender Blend line! While I unfortunately can’t truly comment on it’s ability to help with weight-loss, I can tell you that I noticed a small difference in my body even despite being quite indulgent with my diet these past few weeks (bulking life haha).
I thought the porridge and protein powder were delicious and made getting more protein into my diet easy and convenient. While I would never encourage you to buy supplements if you couldn’t afford it, if you can afford it, then I would definitely steer you towards trying out Protein World products.
Please let me know if you have any questions or feel like I missed something in the comments below. And be sure to email me or message me on my Instagram if you’d rather speak in private.

hey i was wondering did you get any side effects while taking the supplement pills? because i am scared of the bad results that people get from different branded supplements so i want to ask you before taking them
Hi Sabikah!
You might feel a little jittery because they contain a lot of caffeine–so don’t take the pills and drink coffee!!! So be aware of that and follow the recommended dosage. Other than that, I didn’t have any other side effects.
Hope that helps xx
could it work for a person that wants muscle mass growth?
Definitely! You could use this protein powder to make a more substantial protein shake
