I’ve been exercising regularly for over 7 years now and I’ve tried a lot of different workouts, such as pilates, yoga, boxing, weight-lifting and etc. As such, I have gone through a ton of activewear from a variety of different brands. It’s so interesting to think about how activewear “fashion” has evolved over the years–I feel like 2016 is the year of activewear. There are so many incredible activewear and athleisure wear brands to choose from whereas it felt like your choices were pretty limited just 5 short years ago.
I was lucky enough to partner with SKINS, who make incredible compression activewear, and test out their new DNAmic line of compression clothing! Verdict? Best workout pants … ever.
SKINS DNAMIC Review
While I mostly stick to lifting weights, I love experimenting with my workouts and switching it up every couple of weeks. I’ll go to Megaformer every couple of weeks, boxing classes when I can, and right now I am training for a 10k in September. As such, I need workout clothes that will perform and carry me through any workout I do. My SKINS DNAmic pants definitely do. Some workout pants I have owned don’t have the best grip, which would result in them riding up, or me having to pull them up every 10 seconds! Not the case with these babies. Plus, because they are compression pants, they do such a great job of sucking everything in and really making my lower body look sculpted.
According to SKINS, their compression pants use BioAcceleration Technology™, which is said to enhance your performance in training, competition & recovery and give you an edge over your competition. It does this because it helps increase muscular strength and endurance as well as decrease recovery time.
Training for my 10k
I’m really excited that I have these pants to help me train for my 10k in September! I used to be a runner, back in the day, but I don’t run nearly as often as I should. I get sore pretty easily after a run and only imagine me getting more sore as I continue to do longer and harder runs. If you all have any tips on how to build up strength and endurance for a 10k, I would love if you could leave them in the comment box below! Every piece of advice helps so much.
With all that being said, I would love for you all to try out something from SKINS new DNAmic range, and I am holding a giveaway! Please enter below for your chance to win–and even if you don’t win, SKINS have kindly given me a 20% discount code valid until July 31st, 2016. Just head on over to their website and use the code SWEATPINK-SKINS20 on any product (please note that it is NOT valid on already discounted products).
One prize per person. If you win this giveaway, and have already won another prize from SKINS through another blog, please disclose that you have already won so we can choose another winner.
Good luck on the giveaway and let me know if you have any questions. Have a healthy and happy summer!
Honestly yours,
Alice

Oooh! Are those cut-outs? Either way, the design is very flattering. I’ve been a little bit of a running slacker lately, but I’m back on the ClassPass wagon. Last week I took a TRX and mobility combination that still has my arms and lats sore (in the very best way possible!). Today and yesterday, it was morning Zumba. Tuesday, I’m off to Pure Barre.
