SunBasket: Healthy Cooking Made Easy

Surprisingly enough, I have been finding it harder to prioritize making healthy meals with a full-time job than when I was doing my master’s degree and had a part-time job. I think the reason for this is because now that I work 8 hours a day, there are no breaks in between where I can go home, make food or workout. I have a pretty strict routine of waking up at 6am (sometimes earlier) to workout, getting ready for work, going to work and coming home. The last thing I want to do after such a long day is making food and meal prepping (and I keep forgetting to on Sunday lol).

How to Prepare For a Busy Week

For the most part, I have the same routine every week and do not usually find myself with more or less work. However, there are definitely some periods where I know I will be super busy–think holidays, work events and the like. The summer season always starts to get busier for me and I have to plan twice as hard; because if I don’t then unfortunately I will eat whatever is easiest to make. Peaches and Chai Cream Oatmeal + Giveaway

This summer has been so busy!! I’ve been working on a lot of new stuff for the blog and have been trying to do more outdoor activities to take advantage of the sun and warmth. I received an incredible blogger package from Bob’s Red Mill a few weeks ago to help me stay #SummerStrong amidst all of the chaos. I received 4 different protein powders, one of them being a chai protein powder. Maybe it’s my Asian heritage, but I absolutely adore spices and in particular, chai.
