Full Review of Anna Victoria’s Fit Body App

I’m a BIG supporter of the lovely Anna Victoria and her Fit Body Guides. I found the guides highly effective and loved the results I saw. So when Anna Victoria released an app with brand new workouts in it – the Fit Body app – I was beyond excited! I’ve now been using her Fit Body app for over a year and I’m excited to share my full review of the app (and an exciting discount!) with you today.

What is The Fit Body App?

As described by Anna Victoria (who now also owns VitaLura Labs who make incredible whey and vegan protein powder), the Fit Body App is an extension of the original Fit Body Guides, translated into an online experience through the app. The app is available on Apple devices and Android devices in addition to a web app that you can access on your preferred device.

Here’s a screenshot of what you’ll expect in the app:

As you can see, the app stores your workouts, allowing you to download them as well, and there’s a “challenge” section in case you have more to give after your workout. The workouts are structured in the same way that FBG was: there’s a legs + glutes day, a back + arms day, a full body day and three days worth of cardio + abs.

What Are the Fit Body Workouts Like?

I know you’re all thinking “how are the workouts different?” Well, Anna Victoria has said that the Fit Body app is simply a continuation of FBG! Think of Fit Body as the next level of workouts because of their similarity to FBG 2. In fact, Anna has shared that she even refers to the Fit Body app workouts as “FBG 3” 🙂

Their goal is the same – to help you get strong, lose fat and, feel confident. And they definitely do that for me. I’ve been approaching fitness a little different lately, and I’ve only been doing workouts that make me feel strong and confident, and which I am actually excited for. 

The Fit Body App contains twelve different workout programs:

  • 30 Day Tone (my absolute FAVE program—it’s like Tone except it’s on-demand so you can follow along in real-time with Anna!)
  • Shred (this is a no-equipment yet still highly effective, killer workout)
  • Tone (this is a minimal equipment workout that can be done at home or at the gym and is my personal favorite!)
  • Sculpt (this is a gym workout that involves heavy weights and machines)
  • Restore Your Core (a low-impact, post-partum safe strength program)
  • Grow and Glow (another low-impact, post-partum safe strength program)
  • Endurance (a HIIT program designed to improve your endurance)
  • Strong (the most challenging lifting program in the app!)
  • Move (an awesome yoga-inspired program which improves flexibility and mobility)
  • Rise (a yoga-inspired strength program)
  • Lift (a low intensity lifting program which you’d do in the gym)
  • Revive (a back to the basics strength program for post partum moms—perfect to do once you’re done with Restore Your Core)

In my opinion, the app is such a gamechanger. I’ll be honest with you – I was skeptical at first. I didn’t understand how the app would be different from Anna’s workout and nutrition PDFs, nor did I understand how it’s offering was different.

Let’s start with the fact that the app takes you through the whole workout with examples of how to perform the move! It really is like having Anna right there with you, ensuring your form is correct. I also love that the app keeps track of time for you so you’re not constantly having to switch between apps, turning timers on, turning them off, and etc. It creates a really seamless experience and lets you fully focus on the workout.

The one piece of feedback I would give the team is to allow users to create their own sequence of how to follow the workouts. I personally like running through all of the circuits, and then repeating them all three times, instead of being forced to fully finish all sets of circuit 1, and then circuit 2 and circuit 3. 

What Are The On-Demand Workouts Like?

One word: AMAZING! There are six different categories of workouts to choose from in Fit Body’s on-demand section:

  • 30 Day Tone – Round 1
  • 30 Day Tone – Round 2
  • Cardio
  • Low Impact
  • Postpartum
  • Yoga Flows

As you can see, there’s something for everyone. I’ve found that the on-demand workouts are excellent if you’re lacking motivation (and, literally, need to be told what to do) and really help you better understand and perfect your form.

Does the Fit Body App offer food and nutrition guidance?

Ok, the food and nutrition part of the Fit Body App is seriously cool. Not only does the app calculate your unique macros, it provides you with a full meal plan for every day of the week. What?! Normally, this type of service would cost hundreds of dollars but the Fit Body app includes this for you at no extra charge. 

A fairly recent update has made it so that you can track your specific meals just like an app like My Fitness pal. I love how Anna is trying to make the app as all inclusive and useful as possible.

The photo makes the nutrition section pretty self explanatory. You get a full meal plan for each day of the week and you can click on the meals to get the recipe for them. I love that these meals are simple to make because let’s get real – most of us are busy people and don’t have hours on end to prepare healthy meals.

What is the Fit Body App Mindfulness Section?

I think this section is truly what sets Anna Victoria’s Fit Body app apart from others in the industry. She practices what she preaches and truly cares about your mental health, and not just your physical health. She gets that we can’t all have endless motivation and a permanent positive outlook on life.

It feels like you have your own personal cheerleader in an app because this section allows you to watch a range of inspiring videos on how to stay on track during vacation to encouraging you when you’re feeling down. In my humble opinion, you can’t truly transform your body without a healthy mindset, and the ability to love yourself, inside and out.
